We are currently recruiting for 2 bus drives, 3 Care Workers and 3 Care Assistants through the Government funded Kickstart Scheme. Please see below for details.

 

2 Part Time Bus Driver Opportunities - Closing Date 18th of June 2021

MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Role 1: Hours 8.45am to 11am then from 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Role 2: Hours 8.45am to 12pm then from 2.30pm to 4.30pm

Braid Health and Wellbeing supports elderly, vulnerable and isolated people within West Lothian. Our clients have a range of mental and physical difficulties. This is an exciting time to be joining our team as we are undertaking a review of our services which will lead to new, innovative approaches to Day Care across West Lothian

As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for;

Transporting older people to and from the Centre and ensuring vehicles are maintained and cleaned thoroughly in lines with Government Covid Plans

Previous experience of working with members of the public and in particular older people would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

You must have a valid driving license with a D1 and comfortable driving a 17 seated mini bus

F/T: 36.25 hours per week

SALARY £17,908.00 per annum

 

P/T: 14.5 - 21.75 hours per week

SALARY £7,163.00 - £10,745.00 per annum

3x Care Assistant Vacancy - Kickstart Scheme

We are seeking 3 enthusiastic young people to join us as Care Assistant Braid Health and Wellbeing in Livingston. These posts have been made possible through a government scheme funding work placements for 16 to 24 year olds and Tigers LTD. Ask your Work Coach for the "Braid House - Care Assistant" placement. You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months. 


The role is open to those who are:
- 16 - 24 years old
- Currently claiming Universal Credit
- Have an interested in social media and marketing
- Passionate about helping others
